The sauna is a place of transformation. You never emerge from one without being ever-so-slightly changed. It’s a place of purity, equality, and bringing people together – a place for genuine heart-to-hearts and building connections. 

We tend to warm up the sauna for those whom we hold dear, so it’s only fitting that we've done the same for these special whiskies. When a barrel of whisky enters a sauna, it undergoes a similar process to the human soul. The wood absorbs heat and moisture, the pores open, and there's a bit of sweat. Slowly, the whisky warms up and relaxes. What was once in conflict mellows, and flavours that once clashed become harmonious, like neighbours sharing a sauna and a dram.

Finished in the warm embrace of a real Finnish sauna, these are the Kyrö Sauna Stories.

All our glass bottles are made from clear recyclable glass (#70 GL). The corks are made from wood (#50 FOR), and the capsule is from recyclable plastic (#1 PET). The packing material is recyclable cardboard (#20 PAP). The plastic bottles in our Tasting Sets are made from recycled plastic (#1 rPET(E)), the caps from recyclable aluminum (#41 ALU) and the package from recyclable cardboard (#20 PAP).
